Privacy notice

Last updated: 17 October 2026. This notice explains which personal data HAM processes, why, with whom it is shared and how you use your rights, including under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) No. 6698. The data controller is the operator named below.

What we process

Account: email, name, password (stored only as a hash by our authentication provider), profile photo, language and appearance choices, your plan and the date you accepted these terms.

Learning: courses, lessons, answers, progress, reviews, tutor and assistant conversations, podcast scripts and generated audio, research questions and reports, course covers and HAM Token usage records.

Question photos: a photo you send to Solve a question is reduced, stripped of its metadata (such as location) and sent to the AI provider to be solved. HAM does not store the photo.

Support: the messages and reply address you send through the support form. Abuse limits use a keyed hash of your network address, never the address itself.

Cookies and browser storage: language, appearance, sign-in session and drafts of unsaved work. HAM uses no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why

To create and run your account and deliver the service you asked for (KVKK art. 5/2-c), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, including counting AI usage and the sign-up security check (art. 5/2-f), and to meet legal obligations (art. 5/2-ç). HAM does not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it, and where

HAM works with service providers that process data on its behalf: Supabase (database, sign-in and private file storage), OpenAI or another configured AI provider (courses, lessons, tutor, assistant, question solving, covers and the standard voice), ElevenLabs (premium podcast voices), Fish Audio (enhanced podcast voices), Perplexity (Research), Cloudflare (the sign-up security check) and the hosting provider. Their servers may be outside Türkiye, so data is transferred abroad; you give your explicit consent to this transfer when you sign up. See AI data use for what each request contains.

How long

Your data is kept while your account exists. Deleting learning data in Settings removes courses and progress; deleting the account removes the account, its files and its usage records. Provider backups and logs are deleted on their own schedules.

Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you can learn whether your data is processed, request information and a copy, ask for correction or deletion, learn who it was shared with, object to a result produced only by automated processing and claim compensation for unlawful processing. Settings lets you export your data, correct your profile and delete your account. For anything else write to the support address below; we answer within 30 days.

Children

HAM is for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use HAM. A parent who believes their child has used HAM without permission can ask us to delete the account.
